I can't believe my luck!So after doing a few trading and data runs from Burojinura, to Iota Pavonis, then Daha Deti, and then back again then to systems I can't remember, I arrived at Nemehi, where I literally hit gold. And silver on top of that too. There was a glut of these metals that the station accumulated, and they now needed moving. Apparently it is fairly common thing for extraction systems. The credits mentioned were eye-popping. Even for a small ship like mine, I couldn't believe the amount of credits that were being mentioned in the trade manifesto. I'm talking about money that a tech earns in a Universal Galactic year! No wait, I think it's closer to what my entire family made. It's just a a lot of credits.
I made a number of runs to-and-fro systems with demand for gold and silver, and with the piles of credits I made I might be able to get a new ship faster than expected. Though unfortunately I'll need to find a new jackpot after that; it didn't take long for more experienced and equipped pilots to swoop down with their larger ships to move the excess stock of metals away. Most of it has been moved by now, and I expect the few of us small fry left will be the ones to move the last bits out of the station.
Going now and see if I can squeeze a couple more runs before it's all gone. After that I'm going to take a look at the ships on sale in the shipyards, see if there's anything I can afford. Be a bit sad to let go of New Prospect so soon though, I barely had a week with her. so far... but credits make credits, so even being able to double the cargo space is a big deal!
Whoop, need to go, I think I hear another shipment of gold and silver just slip away!
