starfleet command had the great opertunity to meet a legend of starfleet, ensign sulu or xlastexile, the helmsman from the uss enterprise ncc 1701 under captain kirk,
the enterprise x found a floating escape pod with the inhabitant in chryogenic suspention using a technic devised by the engineer scotty from the same enterprise as sulu, using the transporter beam to keep sulu in suspended transporter stream, this preserving him all this time from the 24th century,
sulu was revived and gave account of what had happened,
in a battle with a klingon bird of prey the enterprise was forced to abandon its crew in escape pods,
exile now, is a competant pilot and i personally enjoyed my meeting with him
