starfleet, has decided to put ground forces in place to help with the waring conflict zones between the cardassians, and the dominion and jem'h'dar,
starfleet, has all the nessessary forces and ground troops to help in this and the conflicts seem to be under control, starfleet may also be asked to cover ground in its new advanced srv tank, the scorpion, to help with looters and scavangers when trying to power up settlements, or salvage data cores and power converters from crashed ships due to the conflicts,
the training of the starfleet troops in the new suits and weapons is under way and seems to be comming along at a steady pace.
