2 days, 8000 Light years and a Ringed Earth-Like

I am exhausted, but happy. What did I do? I visited The Planet Bob. Or Byoi Eur GP-A C29-2 A 2. A ringed Earth-Like. It all started 2 days ago, when I recieved priority message form Wolves Of Jonai. They were being threatened by a player faction. I opened the galaxy map.... 16 000 Ly to go. I had a specific waypoin on my way. Planet Bob. I warmed up the FSD and rushed forward. 11 jumps later, while exiting from hyperspace I heard strange sound coming from the back of the ship. System:"Frame shift drive failure, emergency drop." "Oh shi...."
Five minutes later my ship stopped spinning around and I was able to go look at the FSD
Ten ducktape rolls later, I was able to get back in the supercruise and to jump between the systems. A nice part of the next 4 hours were spent in my seat, then I went to sleep. 8 hours later I spun up the FSD again and plotted a route to planet Bob.
Now I am in orbit around the Earth-Like planet wondering if my ship will survive the way back.
