Thargoid invasion

12 Dec 2021Buuhanon
Bering Port blazing on fire. Coalsack just as the rest of the systems infected with thargoids of all shapes and sizes!
While the brightest, most robust and most influential figures in the human cosmos squabble for more power are space! The outside danger, no matter the conditions, continue to attack. The hope rest on the shoulders of tiny people, not leaders, but Pilots and mad scientists.
As stations were evacuated, many commanders took part in the thargoid war. But I have only recently joined the fight. Of course, my interest arose after my first encounter, but that's another story.

Imperial Cutter - mastodons of imperial engineering was boarding with Bering Port in the only desire to evacuate those people while it is possible.
As soon as the ship exited hyperdrive and approached the blazing station, board computer got a contact, with glitching voice coming out of the device.
-Hello, commander! We experiencing an extreme situation. Request a docking unless you are planning to evacuate!- To on other end was heard
-BU-09C requesting docking- Very short, but that summed up all the intentions.

Approaching the station, it was seen from the cabin that the insides of this steel-world were on fire. Unbelievable that there is still anyone to evacuate. Flying in, debris was flying around, making shields activate and resist components smashing into anything in almost 0 gravity.
As soon as this mastodon docked with a landing pad, the ship was already steaming hot. Sweat was coming down the commander's forehead, peaking on the stairs leading into the ship.
-Lead people in!- She screamed to security staff on the other end of the dock, waving her hand in the air. And soon, a crowd of people started to move towards the ship. The quantity of those was bizarre. Of course, she knew that stations used to habit almost millions of people. Still, it was incredible to see that now she is responsible for all those lives! However, it also highlighted how severe thargoids invasion was, to push people out of their habitat space.
Officers and commanders were helping people to board and take their space at capsules. Rich and poor, intelligent and dumb - all bear identical capsules in need.
As soon as it was ready, a voice once more appeared in the computer, commanding to take off, and pad started moving.
Soon the thruster nozzles glared with light, pushing the ship once more outside of the station.

Once outside, ship soon approached the rescue ship. People aboard finally felt relative safety, however.. for how long it could continue? Coming back at the burning station, and unloading all the lives in relative safety, they all have lost something, the industrial plan, habitat or maybe their relatives. Thargoids would come back as soon as the station is repaired and do it all over again.

No matter how the Salvation super-weapon act, it has to be built. If one weapon can already push back the invasion while superpowers hesitate to participate, it must be finished. We saw what it's capable of in Corsea.

Human resources are limited and depleting with each attack. We are still unaware of where exactly thargoids live, so we could counter-attack.
Of course, with such a weapon, thargoids will just fuel their attack once more, as they feel indeed threatened, but if they are afraid, then it does what it should.

Commanders - unite to tackle a tremendous existential threat.
