R&R at Atte-Oudeyi's Welcome

In the week after my triumphant return to Colonia for New Year's, I've honestly been taking it slower than I'm used to in the Bubble. Certainly, there's plenty of work to be done. Plenty of crime to fight, small-scale territorial spats to settle, and the third phase of the Colonia Bridge Project to contribute towards. And although I've found plenty of work, I've also found peace in these frontier systems. People are generally more easygoing, if not as trusting of strangers. Life is decelerated a little, and there's no shortage of fine sights to see or tourist outposts and settlements for them. After unloading a batch of Ceramic Composites at Jaques Station today I decided to head to Los to check out some of their fancy Tourist settlements. One in particular, Atte-Oudeyi's Welcome, did not disappoint! It's situated on a plateau within a crater, giving a dramatic view. It has plenty of spacious quarters and cabins to view the icy terrain, and best of all there are water geysers not far at all!
Being something of an adrenaline junkie but also an experienced explorer and geyser rider, I donned my usual tough Dominator suit with enhanced jump packs and waited near a vent. Once the water erupted forth, I jumped into the stream and was propelled up many kilometers above the surface. It was a beautiful sight! I controlled my descent by continuously pulsing my jump packs and survived the fall by activating shields just before impact; the fully-upgraded Dominator truly is a tough suit!
I'd definitely recommend this settlement for anyone seeking either a relaxing drink or adrenaline-pumping thrills, or a mix of both for those who fly dangerously o7
