GENERAL LOG - 13.12.3307
_____

I has recently come to my attention that the Thargoids have advanced on systems which were previously unaffected. According to the news, the Thargoids were indeed advancing, but I really only observed that they seemed to stay here for longer. I travelled to systems in between those affected, such as Delphi and Maia. Recently though, I noticed that Maia was now under attack, and ObsidianAnt's station Obsidian Orbital is damaged. Now though, I realized Delphi has also been attacked. This means that one of the first stations attacked by the Thargoids years ago, The Oracle, was attacked again. Those poor souls. Any permanent residents there that had the chance to return the first time witnessed the same assault against them a second time. The new commanding officer of the Musashi megaship reported that Salvation required units of experimental equipment to develop more of his "Anti-Thargoid Superweapons." The goal was split up between Maia, Merope, and Delphi, so I suspect if I examine the map Merope is also under attack. This Community Goal was finished, so hopefully we may see a change in tide in this battle against the Thargoids. I suspect something bigger may be coming. I suspect this may be a first wave of multiple, or we may see larger threats emerge than simple droves of Thargoid Interceptors. I also have mixed feelings about Salvation's actions. I find his weapons incredible and overpowering against the Thargoids, but I can start to see the suspicious behavior Aegis is suggesting. His anonymity makes things more interesting. Perhaps Salvation is a Thargoid Sympathizer? I find the theory that Salvation is a Guardian or has direct information from the Guardians even more fascinating. I will continue to watch this very interesting time in history unfold. Be careful out there CMDRs, o7.
