I’m docked up in this civilian outpost on my way from Khasia to 14 Geminorum. Headed out that way on the back of info telling me I can get the best price for these low temp diamonds. Most pilots might not bother going that far to shift four tons but I never made shit easy for myself.
Honestly, moved more tons going from Khasia to here than I will when I arrived at Geminorum, but the profits add up. The type 6 is a fine ship for this sort of work. Gutted the PVH and limpets since laser mining doesn’t require them and the Type 6 is easy enough to fly to be able to collect on its own. Might try and fit some cabins in the free space but this place has none.
Hopefully before long I’ll be able to afford a Type 7 and then the Type 9. Beautiful things they are. Sure, they look like a warehouse and fly just as well, but as long as you intend on staying out of combat, the type 9 is a versatile warehouse.
For now it’s trading and shovelling data I get from honking systems. As it is, I’ve filled the empty space on my racks with Cobalt destined for Wolf 1301 so I better get on with it.
