Bruno was busy, as always, looking at weapons and thinking about how cool it would be to kill lots of people with them, when the Galnet news ticker beeped to life. Recognizing his favorite acronym (it's NMLA), he immediately set to work crafting an exquisite public logbook entry utilizing all his new-found emoji knowledge.Hot-diggety-hot-dog, the NMLA have reared their beautifully ugly mugs yet again, this time with an audience of their own making (hostages)!
Truly amazing work boys, the only audience I usually get are the slaves in my cargo hold or Omnipol trying to keep a man down and ruin his fun.
However, I see the rest of the galaxy doesn't appreciate how funny and cool violence is. 
Seems I will have to work EXTRA HARD to tilt the situation to the NMLA's favour.
At the end of the day, the best motivation is the possibility to see a terrorist attack in the news and think to yourself: "Oh yeah, I made that possible."
