To New Horizons 4

After two days of neutron surfing, I have arrived at Azura Initiative's HQ, AZSF Otaman Sirko. Thankfully, the journey went without accidents, save for a few FSD hiccups. I didn't have a lot of living space here on the Istilen, so I had to opt for cryo pods to bring my family members here. Looks like the cryo sleep was without problems, even for the grandparents. I've been able to find housing for my family members straight away. Otaman Sirko had plenty of living quarters. I haven't really thought about it, but being a Pilots Federation's commander makes it easy not only buying and selling space ships, but also managing the housing. We've been able to sell all our stuff on Mars almost instantly, including the apartments. And now we basically have most of it here, on the Otaman, save for a few things. There's no shortage of vacant job positions, either; a good medical nurse is always in need on space stations, so mom will surely find herself at home here.
The Otaman's anchorage system, the Great Annihilator, is an interesting one. I mean, you don't see stations orbiting literal black holes everyday. I've read about light distortion around black holes, so I knew that I would have to be careful when arriving into the system, but I didn't think it would be that horrifying to see it in person.
Travelling via neutron highways was actually easier than I had anticipated. The trick is to enter the cones almost parallel to the cone and away from the star. The problem is the FSD wear, although it's manageable with AFMUs.
Well, now that my family is safe aboard the Otaman, I can finally venture off into the Void yet again. I can't wait what it has in store for me.
Oh, and I did visit the doctor. Just as I suspected, it's the Odyssey implants. Something about the retinal projectors, I believe. The doc made several tweaks to the chips, so now the vertigo should be less of a problem.
