Entering The California Nebula and a terrifying discovery

I have nearly completed my journey to the California nebula to do some prospecting, but what I have found in this system is terrifying. I was about to engage my FSD to head into the nebula when I saw it: New signal source detected. I now find myself surrounded by 78 non human signal sources. That is 78 probably Thargoid dangers out here. The presence of this many is unnerving, and my ship is built mostly for exploring. I have weapons, but I have not tested them in combat. 78 thargoid signals, and this isn't that far from the bubble. A terrifying discovery on my trip of peace.
