Raising a Glass to the Brave Pilots of the Kumo Crew

Well well, it looks like the anti-xeno efforts of the Kumo Crew in the California Nebula have paid off... for now, anyway. I have to hand it to Archon Delaine, I'm impressed by his dedication to the safety of our Kumo territories. Who would have thought that a criminal organization could offer better protection than the 'legitimate' factions?But of course, not everyone is convinced. Despite the crew's efforts, the local residents have driven out the security forces deployed to protect their ports. Turner Research Group has even regained control of some locations that the Kumo Council had taken over. I guess they prefer the dangers of Thargoids to the perceived dangers of the Kumo Crew. It's funny how the Alliance always has to stick their nose where it doesn't belong. The Assembly has received a request for support from Turner Research Group and is now looking into the situation. I wouldn't be surprised if they used this as an opportunity to undermine Delaine and the Kumo Crew.
At least the Mictlan megaship is showing its appreciation for the pilots who helped out. Combat bonds for Thargoid kills will be reimbursed. That's something, I suppose. I raise my glass of Harma Silver Sea rum to all pilots who answered the call of Archon Delaine. Here's to a job well done!
