Thargoids Give Witch Head Nebula a Makeover, Residents Unimpressed

Well, well, well, what do we have here? The Thargoids are back, and they're bringing their party to the Witch Head Nebula! I mean, who doesn't love a good old-fashioned invasion that leaves tens of thousands of casualties in its wake? And with the nebula located hundreds of light years away, good luck getting any help from rescue services in time.But wait, there's more! The engineer Chloe Sedesi managed to send out a fragmented message before getting chased by the swarms of Thargoids in every direction. Sounds like a fun time, doesn't it? And just when you thought things couldn't get any worse, the Golden Stag megaship in Onoros has been destroyed, and Alliance forces are scattered like ants.
According to Dr Maximo Fonseca and other xenologists, the Thargoids' expansion strategy involves securing barnacle-rich systems. So, if you happen to live in one of those systems, I suggest packing your bags and finding a new home because it looks like the Thargoids are coming for ya.
Captain Warren Lamar, head of security for the Alliance Expeditionary Pact, has requested immediate reinforcements from the Alliance. But let's be real, even if they do manage to send help, will it be enough to stop the Thargoids' invasion? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
