First Day Of Exploration

Route plotted, ship armed and shielded.
Today was my first day of exploration and I decided to keep it under 200ly for this first trip. I didn't want to get ahead of myself and end up to far out with no help and no way back if something happened. So with the help of some online tools I decided on 53 Aquarii as my very first exploration destination.
Leaving from the Pikum system on the most fuel efficient route I could plot, I ventured off from the safety of my home station I have come to know and love.
Along the way, whenever I would happen across a small system with some interesting looking planets I would stop and scan a few. However, I was on a mission to see why I was given this system as a good location for my first expedition. 18 jumps later I found out why.
I came out of hyperspace practically directly on top of a GIANT C5 III type star with bright glowing hues of purple and pink. I was greeted with the best looking area i have seen so far in the game!
If this is the type of things i can find just within a 100ly or so of home, I can't wait untill i get further out! I have stopped in this system to take a rest, rearm, repair, and refuel. Tomorrow i have a decision to make. Do i head back home and gather some more scanner data heading back the way i came? Or do i look for another wonder a little further out and continue on?
We shall find out in the morning.
