Maia

So I got a systems upgrade for the Blue Horizons today, the so-called "2.2 Systems Update."
I've been in the Sol system, on Mars for the last few weeks, and I got to say, I'm glad to be back on the ship. I checked out the systems, there's now a more detailed damage report, this 'engine spin up' head's up, as I like to call it, and lastly, one I didn't notice and really wouldn't have needed to, I can now disable the clock in the info tab! Wonderful! I'll look more into it later, but I can tell it's mostly speed optimisation and improved quality, the holograms are a little clearer as I've noticed.

Anyways, I've still been having those hallucinations, they're getting more and more vivid with each passing day. Yesterday I had one that stood out, it was like I was on a ship, flying above those ruins they found in a system a little bit ago. It jumped around, the view flickering like a broken light, and there was suddenly a flash of green light, blinking repeatedly, like morse code, and then it ended. I can't get what happened out of my head, I'll try and make sense of it.

Aside from that, I tried doing some research into that object I found, and came up with nothing. I gave it a good look, it is ornate, ancient looking even, with an intricate depiction of some sort of battle. After examining it for a bit, I noticed something strange. If I held it in a certain way, it flashed green, I'm not sure if it's some trick of light or something, perhaps there is a metal in it or something, but strange nonetheless.
I eventually decided to head to Maia again, there was a massive conflict occurring there, and logically I knew there much much money to be earned there.

After departing from the station, I set off.

Thirty-Five jumps, from the swirling plumes of particles from White Dwarves, to the pleasant glow of blue giants. With each jump the blue cloud of the Pleiades grew larger and larger.

After one final jump, I was there, back in the system that I had once gone to whilst it was unexplored. The blue giant was so enormous, I can't put it into words. That star appears before you, and you feel like a bacterium. Luckily the canopy had special filters that blocked solar radiation, if it didn't I would have been toasted in an instant.

On my last trip to the Pleiades a few months ago, I wasn't able to visit Obsidian Orbital again, but this time I was.
It was nice to jump before the mighty beast again, a marvel of engineering.
I got signed up for the CG, and headed to a Conflict Zone.

Once dropping out, I flew around getting combat bonds, and headed back. Got about 300k credits, not bad.

I'll write more if something happens, so for now,
This is Commander ParkTy Green,
Signing off.
Do you like it?
