Incident update: After further investigation into what happened to the medical pod it has been discovered that the woman's name is H. Sika. It was unable to give us the full first name of the patient, her year of birth were also revealed to be 3283. We have made inquiries into who this woman might be, with the different authorities. Our information is spares, we are far out from the core systems and our location must remain hidden for the time being, so the inquiries were sent with trusted couriers, the chance of her waking up before, we get an answer back, is more likely than the couriers returning in time.

PATIENT PROGRESS
DATE: | PROGRESS NOTES |
3307-01-03 Morning | It has been a rough night her vitals have been all over the place after the surgery. The wound reopened and had to be closed again, it was a minor complication. We had to give her another bag of blood to replace the amount she lost. She has been put on a cocktail of antibiotics due to the enhanced risk of infections. Vitals are still concerning. |
3307-01-03 Evening | She has stabilized, the blood transfusions have stopped. The bruising on her body and fractured ribs are showing signs of healing slowly. Vitals shows improvement. |
3307-01-04 Morning | Vitals low but stable, to be expected. Ribs and bruising healing. Neck wound shows no sign of infection and its reacting well to the med pod. |
3307-01-04 Evening | Vitals normal. Brain examination scheduled for tomorrow. Concerns about the time she spent in the malfunctioning med pod. |
3307-01-05 Morning | The brain examination showed no damage, due to the blood loss and the possible lack of O2. Vitals normal. The fractured ribs are nearly healed, and the bruising gone. The neck wound is healing at a slower rate because of the complications, no infections. |
3307-01-05 Evening | Vitals good. Taken of the strong antibiotics. |
3307-01-06 Morning | Due to the continued recovery and great improvements, the medical team and I has decided to let her out of the medical induced coma. |
3307-01-06 Evening | Vitals good. Moved to a bed. She has started to move a little, small twitches hand and feet, but no change in consciousness. |
3307-01-07 Morning | Vitals good. No change in consciousness, her eyes are moving around as if she is dreaming |
3307-01-07 Evening | No change |
3307-01-08 | Vitals are good. She had a rough night with nightmares, a lot of thrashing around in her bed doing the night almost knocked out a medic. A member of psychology has been notified, an evaluation has been requested. |
3307-01-09 | She woke up while unattended, she managed to make it all the way down to the docks before she collapsed on the floor behind a box. A member of the salvage team found her and brought her back to the med bay. An examination showed no reopened wounds. She woke up again an hour later, she was less disoriented this time around. She didn’t speak but we managed to communicate, yes and no questions, through blinking. But when we asked her to write her full name and ID on a tablet, she turned her back to us and pretended to sleep. |
3307-01-10 | She was awake for the morning checkup, sitting cross legged on the bed as I was removing the bandage on her neck to check the wound and replace the bandage. She barely responded to my questions. Vitals strong. She did have trouble with keeping her food down, not having eaten solid food for over a month, but she managed. She did indicate that her throat hurts when she tries to speak. I did a scan of her throat and vocal cords, it showed that whatever had caused the wound on her neck had also damaged her vocal cords. The med pod had healed the damaged tissue to an extent. She refused to have it treated, it might become a chronic pain for her. |
3307-01-11 | Vitals strong. Neck wound is healing, the bandage came of today. She was more talkative today, even vocally. Told me her full name is Hestia Sika, she didn’t give me an ID number she seemed to have trouble remembering it. It was hard for her to get a sound out at first, but it became easier as the day progressed. We have moved her to a private room in the med bay for the time being, she has restricted access on the FC, so she can walk around. She will be onboard a ship, headed for the core systems in a few days. Were a member of the PF psych department will take over. |
