Its several weeks into the second Thargoid war. There was a particularly nasty battle in the chanyaya system. we were 1 percent away from pushing them back when the week was through. Reinforcements arrived and the starports were destroyed, in the end however we were victorious. this week has brought even more populated systems under attack. HIP 2422 in particular has 8 billion human residents. Technology is slowly being developed to combat these threats, new ax weapon, in particular the enhanced ax multi-cannons have greatly helped. there is word now of reinforcements to ship structures to allow for more of these guns to be employed. the source for the later however is from the questionable Azimuth group. It seems we are holding our own though even if they are gaining ground in the unpopulated systems. I'm optimistic for now.
