That imbecile. The principles of that weapon were unsound from the beginning. Now he has possibly doomed us all. The Thargoid Anomaly is almost sure to be a superweapon. Pay back for the now 2 attempts to destroy them wholesale. My hunt is over, maybe permanently. But I am finding something strange about this weapon. The method of travel is something I have hypothesized and have tried to find a way to achieve using my own Wayward Son.
Hyperspace-like travel without Frameshift or the old Hyperdrive system. You can see this thing, but cannot approach it. This is exactly what I thought would be needed to reach Raxxla.
My research might be useful yet. I am now en route for headquarters and will be assembling a team of specialist researchers. It is time that my discoveries become known, data gathered and collated, and possibly a solution found.
