log 6, 153 jumps in, diverging route, recursive orbits

sorry, this took a while, had to work out a few kinks in the data storage system, and I probably have some kinda illness. But onto the meat of this log, I've started to do a diverging route. I've started to head out to the side of gd140, my planned pitstop, to gather more data on these planets far, far out, and so that I wouldn't just go the same way back. I have also found a rather weird system, it had a star orbiting around a more massive planet, that was, in turn, orbiting around a larger star still, creating this weird system where one of the suns was a moon of this planet. That would probably cause a lot of excessive heating of the planet, but the planet was a metal-rich one anyways, may help with terraforming if anyone is crazy enough to decide to do that this far away from anything else
Another thing is that I got in contact with a friend back in civilization, we talked a bit before I invited em over to holo-presence. we talked a bit as I continued to jump through my route. I am half debating if i should send them a invite to my squadron or not, since they seem like a rather good and honestly kind person, but eh future me will deal with that
I am having serious doubts about doing this journey, just seeing the amount of time needed for just getting out, then doing some decently primitive math, this route will take me up to a year to complete, and I have to do an even longer one of these soon, which doesn't inspire much confidence in me. But for now i just have to keep pushing on, i need to get back to civilization to fix up my ship and share my data.
