UIA 7 Investigation

We made it! 2 hours after leaving Kruger 60 we had first eye contact with the Stargoid! After initial gazing at it's mysterious green glowing spiral we quickly departed the carrier to head to it's first recorded location and beyond. First scans weren't promising, just some Neon-rich atmospheric planets. The second system beyond the first sighting point of UIA 7 revealed some gas giants and one moon orbiting a gas giant with water-based life. Not exactly Thargoid habitat but better than nothing. On the moon's surface were 2 minor wreckages and a distress beacon. With a little hope I landed near these signals and searched the wrecks. Nothing. Just Skimmers in an unusual place far away from human bases. The beacon of the distress signal was also nothing. Escape Pods, not that I need them, but I picked one up. Quickly I got the thought to maybe drop them in case of a hyperdiction, but that never happened either. All that was left was getting some nice pictures with UIA 7 before heading to bed on the USS Furry.
