I got to share a cool experience today with someone dear to me. My father, Chris Manus, has always been extremely interested in space travel but has yet to see what I do. Today he was able to hologram into my ship and watch while I showed him some things this galaxy has to offer.
We even figured out how to land on a planet together, which I myself had never done before. It was a bit rocky at first, and took a few tries learning the controls, but it was a great experience working through it together. I should think about getting him a ship of his own someday, but I fear that he doesn't have the time for such pursuits.
After we finished, he asked me to "Name a planet after me!" I told him I would, and so henceforth (to me at least) Bleia Eohn VY-G B30-5 4 will now be known as "Chris World" in honor of my Dad and I's flight together today.
I hope for the opportunity to fly with him by my side again soon!
