Log #0009: I'm back

I've been on a short break. Just a couple of weeks. But a few days ago, I returned to duty, helped my friend CMDR Benny get his pre-engineered FSD, and we immediately set off toward the center of the galaxy. Along the way, we stopped at a DSSA carrier to sell our first discoveries, and to repair his FSD. It turns out, he doesn't have an AFMU!We decided to head toward Colonia first instead, so that we can get him equipped, but along the way we tried landing on a planet to look at the night sky, and he came in too hot, bouncing off the surface. Surviving with only 20% hull strength, we decided we need to get to colonia NOW.
I took a nap while he went on ahead. Once we get there, I'm going to get him outfitted with the largest AFMU we can find, and get myself a moderately sized repair limpet controller, just in case.
That said, it's been great. I've discovered a couple ELWs, finally got first discovery on some neutron stars, and found many, many map-worthy planets! The only thing that could make this trip better is if I were to run into a Wolf-Rayet star, even if it's already been discovered. I've never seen one!
