Went out to jameson crash site a while ago, told I could get materials there, well I found a lot more than materialsLearned about some war crimes and now I'm struggling with everything I thought I knew about the bugs
Turns out the feds aren't satisfied with doing the war crimes just on humans, huh
you know when I first heard the line about them not being able to be reasoned with, how they're just like in the movies where you got aliens that wanna kill us for no reason, I was kinda suspicious of that, because it seemed just a little too simplistic a view for me. guess I should have dug further into it
seems a bit insensitive, writing this so soon after the bugs hit those stations, but damn, maybe we wouldn't be in this situation if we didn't go after them first.
really what are those damn meta alloys worth if our greed for them is causing all of this bullshit. it's not like there's a territory issue, I've seen enough completely untouched star systems out there that us and them could happily live side by side without ever running out of room for either of us. and if we weren't killing each other on sight then who knows? maybe they'd teach us how to make the stuff our fucking selves, well I guess that imperialism and expansionist ideology don't die out just because we're in space now
