Mining my way down town....limpets fast and I'm homebound....

It finally happened.... I did some mining. More specifically, I did Tritium mining in order to make it back to the bubble from Sag A. I thought my calculations were fair. I must have miscalculated the fuel consumption while jumping around in Colonia before making my trip back. Anyway, I digress. I have finally made it one jump away from the bubble. 23,000LY trip, all done on my own, without the assistance of fuel rats, or the help of other commanders. Talk about a special moment. While I make my way back to civilization, I am already missing the vast amount of stars that once lit up my canopy. One day in the future I might go back out there, into the deep vast of space. Amongst the unknown cosmics, past the galactic plane, and into new territory. Yes, I will return again. The steller views of the planets and rings alike will forever live in my memory. (Short break from the lore: This game really has helped me. During the pandemic, I didn't really know where life was taking me. I was going thru some highs and some lows when a friend of mine introduced me to this game. While I am completely aware the game is nonfiction- I was happy to adapt to the role playing, deep/ heavy lore, and the community based gameplay this piece of art has to offer. This game has helped me with understanding things on a bigger scale, reassuring myself how little I really am, and helped me gain back a purity within myself that I thought I had once lost. From moments of frustration while I was still learning to land my ship, to moments of awe when in a full wing doing AX combat, or when you pull up/down landing gear with the intent to make a quick get-a-way or a clean landing, these moments, right now- I will always be greatfull for. Once again, to the community, to the devs, to everyone who helps with the 3rd party tools *Artie and those alike*- this one is for you....o7.)
