Harrison Wells invited Imperial peers and fellow commanders to Indri to celebrate 200 days since the foundation of the Nova Science Team. Wells, who is also known by his Pilots’ Federation name CMDR Montage, first started the Nova Science Team as part of the Nova Navy several years ago. The science team completed many successful expeditions, as well as leading many research ventures, which led to findings and studies that were celebrated across the Empire. After growing beyond a mere science division in the Imperator’s Navy, the Nova Science Team settled as an Imperial Corporation in the Indri system.Salus Invicta’s Cancellarius (leader) Mrs. Rilke - also known by her Pilots’ Federation handle CMDR Hekateh - attended the ceremony representing House Salus. Wells and Rilke had been part of Nova Navy for many years, and even served together on the Navy’s admiralty board years ago.
CMDR Hekateh had but kind words to offer:
“Harrison always dreamt of the black, and nothing could keep him in the bubble for long. All of his hard work finally paid off when Universal Cartographics chose to honour his discovery of twin Earth-Like Worlds with a tourist beacon, making sure his discovery would go down in history. The two planets were named “Imperator” and “Imperatrix” after Hadrian and his wife Astrid. But he didn’t stop there. He kept working diligently, and today we celebrate his achievements in the Nova Science Team anniversary. I could not be more proud of him.”
Further Imperial dignitaries attended the event. Including the Nova Navy admiral and Pilot Federation commander Hellrider. The commander is also an avid explorer, and is often described as Mr. Wells “partner in crime”, when it comes to finding livable planets, and alien life out in the black.
House Salus did come empty handed. Mrs. Rilke handed a project proposal to Mr. Wells, which would see the explorers Nova Science Team, and the terraforming experts of House Salus working together in the near future. Yet CMDR Hekateh refused to elaborate further:
“But for now the project is in the early planning stages, and thus strictly confidential. We do not wish to announce something, unless we have something concrete to show for it. But I think Harrison took well to the project proposal.”
