// Doc Scratch open transmission all frequencies// Current Location: The Overlook megaship/ HIP 22460 //This is an open broadcast, by the time anyone picks this message up the Proteus wave will most likely have been activated and to be honest with you, I dont really know what it will do. I managed to get some sneak peaks at its design and specifications during my time with Azimuth Biotech I am sadly far to untrained to really give you any idea what is coming tonight. But let me take this last few moments of peace and suspense to speak to you all.
First , to the Wych Hunters. It was a fun game keeping you busy. It was hard keeping up with all the tasks the old man kept feeding us while at the same time seeing to the bare minimum defense of Azimuths holdings in Maia. I hate to be that person but some of you might have realized this as well but Caleb Wycherly doesnt care what happens to this company or the people employed by it, he is a man who has had one singular focus for the last two (hundred?) years and this Proteus wave is the culmination of that fixation.
Now as far as my concerns go with Azimuth Biotech, i was hired to keep logistics flowing during the final stages of this whole operation and seeing as how the weapon is done I would say we did our job. What happens to the company now is hard to say, My money is on Sirius making a move with its Mergers & Acquisitions department in the morning , or possibly we might see history repeat itself with Sirius playing the role of Pharmasapian this time around with a full hostile take over of the company if you get my meaning.
Grudges tend to be bad for business but I also happen to be a very territorial person and for the last couple of months Azimuth has been MY territory and I dont take too kindly to it being shut down, but thats the breaks isnt it. Knowing when to cut and run is also good for business isnt it.
Now as for you Dr. Wycherly, Caleb, Salvation, whatever you wanna be called. I know you got my messages, I told you the company was going to fall apart but you seemed to not care as long as you got your damned weapon. Well its done now I hope it was worth it for you. Maybe you can Salvation the remaining employees of your company before they all defect. Whatever show you are going to put on after this it had better be the best the Milkyway Galaxy has ever seen. Im talking show stopper with a big musical number for the climax. I hope it was worth it in the end for you because from where Im sitting right now on the wreck of the Overlook, your own grudge has cost you everything. But maybe you planned for all of this I cant say.
I am more then happy to keep playing your lapdog if you can show me something worth my time. I am more then happy to play the role of lackey to the most reviled man in the galaxy if it keeps being entertaining to me.
Show me why they call you The Wych and perform some magic today.
Make something happen...
I should also say that so many of you who do protest loudly now were many of the same ones who greedily accepted the "gifts" Salvation offered you over the safety of those you could trust in AEGIS. I might have only been awakened from a deep sleep some months ago but I did my research and in the short time i was awake I made the connections I could see patterns in the movements of events, maybe i give myself too much credit and in hindsight things are easier to piece together but you all should have made the connections between Salvation , Taurus Mining Ventures and Azimuth Biotech much quicker then any of you managed, Maybe the dangling lure of shiny new weapons was clouding the eyes of you independent pilots a little too much for you to see the truth before it caught you unaware. In the end though, you chose this, thru you past actions or inactions as it were.
We are here now because in the end the choices of all of us have led to this moment. Now we must all pay the price for what is to come next.
That includes me, I know that I have a lot of blood on my hands no matter what the outcome today is. Maybe more then the majority of you.
I also chose this.
Maybe more so then anyone else here because I knew the kind of person Salvation was, and I still picked him over you. Because it seemed like a lot of fun.
