I always knew that this was going to end badly, at some point along the way I really stopped caring; though the Leesti Evil Juice I was consuming in order to assimilate into the inner circle of an amoral megalomaniacal super scientist was perhaps a bit too far of a line to cross. I threw the last of the stuff out today, after sitting for several hours staring into the void from my cockpit and thinking about what has happened in the last 24 hours...Perhaps I should have trusted my instincts when at one of the few board meetings I was allowed to attend towards the end of the Proteus Wave project when I brought up the question as to HOW Dr. Wycherly had managed to bypass the well known repulsion that Thargoid technology has when in contact with Guardian technology I was met with the blank stares. As if of course SALVATION has found a way around that , why should I even have asked such a thing,
I believe the paraphrase what I can from memory I was told , "Laymen and other scientists simply do not understand how to properly control the flow of the cascade resonance that occurs between these two civilizations technology"
Maybe I shouldnt have kept drinking the evil juice once I was on board and inside the company.
Maybe I should have shot Caleb when I had the chance that ONE time he was there in the room with me in person...

now .. How many have died today, how many are in danger in the future, ,what if this spreads to other systems, The cascade resonance wave was designed to hop into the thargoid structures and use it like a network.
What if they learn to use this same concept again, what if we just gave the Thargoids a brand new weapon... Or just really pissed them off
No matter what the outcome, lots of folks are gonna die , and im probably a wanted criminal in all three jurisdictions if not now then soon.
I dont know what to do about all of this right now
I do know what I can do though, Azimuth is still home to me for now and if i can start there , rebuild, fix the company maybe. Then we could use them as a resource too. Azimuth could help fix this too. Not to mention lots of people are still employed by them for now, they need to be taken care of. Especially now with everything going on...
I cant make this right now, but i can try to do something to help in some way.
I understand that, a lot of folks are probably going to hate me, and they are right to, im a fucking monster.
