Cmdr's Log 06July22 -1: An Ill-Planned Trip To SagA

After months of massacres, deliveries, retrievals, and scouring abandoned settlements in the Bubble, I recently decided to head to SagA in an ill thought out plan to get my Elite rank in Exploration. I took a DBX, stripped it down, tossed in the best FSD I could find for it, a bunch of fuel tanks, and the largest fuel scoop I could put on it. No DSS. I was barely able to upgrade my FSD. But once I had haphazardly prepared, I left my home, just near Jefferson, and headed to the Stem.I've honked dozens of systems and, already, I'm getting bored with the repetitious nature of my plan. As many, many other Cmdrs have suggested, I should have tossed on a DSS for some surface scanning. But I made it to the Stem.
Now, if the universe permits, my goal is to find a station between the Stem and SagA where I can refit to better suit what I am doing. But not even a 1000 lys away from where I started, and I've already begun to succumb to one of the most terrifying and deadly maladies among Cmdrs. Space boredom. The sort of illness that leads to months of not playing, and, in the most extreme cases, starting a profile over simply to relive the excitement of early game grind.
But I remain steadfast in my mission. I shall continue. Hopefully, by the next entry of this Log, I will have made it out of the Stem and even found a station to equip some modules to make this trip a little more bearable, even if at the expense of expedience.
