I... I don't know how I got away.The moment I hit real space, I panicked forgetting, trying just to get away. Then I remembered I engineered this ship for speed, using tge boosters in combination with my chaff I barely managed to avoid enough of the laser fire allowing my shields - which are not made for combat to absorb the brunt of the damage. I soon put more distance between us then their range capabilities. I think I will look into strengthening those shields.
