The Legion ExpandsJust a few days ago, Lavigny's Legion expanded into the nearby system of Mu Horologii. The leaders of the other factions in the system welcomed the Legion into Mu Horologii with open arms, including the Admiralty of The Order of Mobius; with whom the Legion has opened diplomatic relations with in order to facilitate a peaceful co-existence. The system has not been high on the Legion's list of expansion targets, but when an opportunity presented itself leadership made the call to move in. While not a gem of a system itself, Mu Horolgii does provide the Legion with additional resources and another strategic position to garrison additional forces in.
While not a prime expansion target, Mu Horologii should prove to be a worthwile addition to the Legion's resources. The system is currently under the control of a Corporate group, the Mu Horologii Jet Legal Co., but the Emporer's Inquisitors have been looking into various reports of corruption within their ranks for some time; reports that, if found out to be true, would certainly result in the stripping of the Corporations right to control the system. Legion officials have already stated that, should the need arise, they would step in to steward the system.
