A Rat and a Ship

I spent a lot of time talking with the Fuel Rats, learning their ways and just enjoying hanging out in their comms channel, when one of them said he would help me in my goal of trying to outfit a new Krait Mark II ship for mining. This came up because I was debating buying a second Python for the mining ship, or the Krait Mk II. After lots of discussions, I decided on the Krait because the only benefit I get from the Python is having an additional 64 cargo, and I'm likely not even going to stay out mining long enough to fill up the 128t of cargo that the Krait has so that would be wasted, and the Krait is more maneuverable, and I already have a Python so why not get something different this time?After heading out to my first ever time on a carrier, he made a donation large enough to cover the ship and outfitting it. In honor of this donation, I have named the ship after him. FA-07 is now known as: Peace Out.
This also led to my first attempt at Core Mining. I ruined more rocks than I cracked open. This is interesting, but I need to learn how to be a lot faster with placing the charges. My friend tells me that I should upgrade my flight systems to use a HOTAS instead of controller. We shall see....
