Barnard's Loop BEGIN!
25 Aug 2022Final Asgard
We did it! We started the journey we have been talking about for weeks now, going out on a tour of several Nebula. We started our trip by going to the Pleiades Nebula, then we headed to the Witch Head Nebula, and finally Barnard's Loop. Along the way, CMDR Kunkali and I stopped by some planets, did some SRV fun, and got lots of pictures.
My favorite by far was the Witch Head Nebula. While Barnard's Loop was impressive just because of its sheer size, up close, it's just like being inside a giant red cloud. Cool, but not really much to look at. Nothing much for special celestial scape pictures either.
But just take a look at the amazing colors you get in the Witch Head.
We have several more stops to go before making it back to the Bubble, but this really served a good purpose of getting us out to stretch our legs, try out how awesome the FA-05a Grace Upon Grace is when it comes to jumping long distances. In a few weeks we should be ready to try something even crazier. Like going out to Sagittarius A.
