Other people's tragedy can become an opportunity, even if your morals don't allow you to fully exploit it.
The Sveit system is facing a nasty outbreak, and with a population of over 3 billion they need a massive supply of biochemical materials. With that much traffic, it's inevitable that some of it faces a grisly fate on a regular basis... which in this scenario, as any seasoned commander knows, means that some high-grade pharmaceutical stuff craved by engineers like the esteemed Professor Ishmael Palin is free to scoop by anyone with a well-tuned scanner.
Given their scarce availability for private individuals, and how much the specialist traders ask for as a result, this is a rare opportunity to hoard as many of those as possible. I hope the people there get better soon, but in the meantime I can fill my stock.
After all, the thrusters on my fleet are not going to tune themselves. The black is calling again; I have an Asp Explorer to finish and many nebulae to visit.
