> No real 'adventuring' - just worked on Python a bit (wanted to test missiles again coz yamiks was saying they are OP)....

TODAY i made a loooong trip to the closest Maelstrom area... I also bought a whole bunch of AX stuff and ferried it back to Altair so i could outfit differently and even other ships -
-E.g. I got Xeno Scanner!
& That Shutdown Field blocker thingy!

RAZ NO SHOW even though we were supposed to b playing all day : (
{I made him jump on long enough to do missions which were working again!}


18th Oct 2022: Destination: COAL SACK NEBULA

1st exploration/learning mission for fun with Gix and Bish.
Destination was COAL SACK NEBULA (for look and photo).
It was great and fun, with a fair bit of frustration for Bish but ultimately a big learning curve.

Several screen shots on PJ-P b6-1, i think it was? Musca Dark Region, is the system we picked to get the best looks at the nebula
and to see Thargoid barnacles and a wreck.

Funny incidents aside from constant cluster fucks with nav-lock and me hopping to about 6 non-fuel stars before re-calibrating my nav filters:
Hopping around on PJ-P b6-1(?), me getting stuck under my Asp, then spinning out of control in SRV, group photo op, landing,
taking Gix's carrier home <-- ME FALLING THROUGH Gix's CARRIER! O.o?!
{No shared instance glitch on carrier too.}

Nav-Lock Problems:

We (wing of 3) had problems jumping to nav-locked wing-man (fm one sys to another) where no matter how you do it, it never works...
Every time we tried it, not only did it fail to pull the other person into the next system but the person would be dropped out of
super cruise in the old system while the leader jumped ahead to next system). Everyone in wing had beacons on....
We tried both SELECTING the jumper and their wake signal or NOT SELECTING them... Nothing worked...
Research Made me think, from P2P perspective, it was because we are all 3 of us in different continents on other sides of world
and my Internet is the worst of all of them.....

GENERAL GOOD PRACTICE FOR NAV-LOCK USE:
(1) You jump WHEN not WHERE u nav-lock. {I.e.Game/computers place u where it THINKS your leader would be. Lag, P2P etc wrecks automation}
(2) Therefore: Jump to WAKE Signal, NOT AUTO(Allowing it to uck/push you)!
I.e Only Jump AFTER leader has loaded their new instance.
{E.g. System jump - when leader is in next system and it's all loaded up, THEN you jump on their WAKE.}
(3) Beacons SHOULD ALL BE ON. {Buuut, a few ppl suggested turning 'off' beacons may change actual bugs/errors}.
(4) Nav-Lock should ALWAYS be OFF, at all times until using, then immediately OFF again.
- E.g. You will get sucked back to the place your team is in, if you try to use Super Cruise or Jump, to escape, when you leave Nav-
Lock ON!
(5) One at a time is most reliable. {1 locks 1, 1 jumps at a time}
(6) Nav-lock will always be glitchy 20-50% of the time (so far as dropping too far from team or missing System Jump position).
(7) Speed SHOULD be irrelevant but veterans say go just a bit slower than full speed is safer. (E.g. 70%)

Went to Guardian site, with Gix helping us(Bish too), to gather Guardian stuff for Guardian engineering.

Unlocked Guardian Broker and FSD Booster!

BOUGHT ANACONDA!

Went to Sola Prospect on BRESTLA for A-rated parts for ^ 'Conda.

4 Nana pirate missions completed solo.

Added FSD Booster to Asp but it has power issues now. Removed auto pilot and changed some prioties
but it's still no good... Considering going without shields.
