Nova Navy's Science Team Investigates Guardian Technology

With pressure mounting within Nova Paresa's systems the traditionalist faction has been forced to shift its attention towards the looming Thargoid threat. Nova Navy, the auxiliary naval arm of the isolationists, has devoted significant resources towards refining their anti-xeno capabilities. Part of this renewed focus includes expanded guardian research spearheaded by Kentarch Yumasai and Trierarch Jeremaya. PNN managed to secure exclusive interviews with both pivotal CMDRs as they returned from their enigmatic journey.
CMDR Yumasai, what compelled you to visit the Guardian site you discovered last year? Did you uncover anything new?
I encountered Trierarch (Captain) Jeremaya, the fresh head of the Nova Navy's Limitanei (AX Defence & Research Division) aboard the NNV Dangerstar as I was about to leave the following a stay in the medical bay. He informed me that they had encountered a message on public channels whereby there was a report of receiving a signal from a Guardian Obelisk if scanning it with these new Unclassified Relics in one's cargo hold. As a sound analyst he would like me to gather a few of those and proceed to an obelisk and scan it, in the hopes of getting the sound log so he could analyze it for any particular anomalies of interest...

So our primary research goal was to try to find any relation of the new Trelics (or Grelics) with the guardian obelisks. We got a lead from an unidentified source that trelics might react with guardian obelisks and give us some audio clues how to go on with the research. So CMDR Yumasai with help of CMDR Gerard did a collection, visited two guardian structures, made some Trelics and then went back to guardian structures to test our theory. CMDR Yumasai did a test and recorded audio which he sent to me to analyze at my laboratory back at Dyson city...
