We all know something is coming. It doesn't matter what side you are on, after the Proteus Wave was fired the Thargoids reacted, just as we would if someone tried to use a super weapon to wipe us all out, or at the least disable us on a large scale. That being said these U.I.A, or Stargoids as they've come to be known are approaching Sol. They're in the Bubble at this point. A lot of people think they're some kind of Thargoid mothership or perhaps even the sign of the mythical Thargoid queen. I'm not sure what I think. 
I'll admit with the general shape they display it does give me a bit of a Thargoid vibe. I'm not a holy person, but if there is some kind of gods, karma, or even just the randomness that is the universe, maybe... just maybe they're something else. Something that isn't out to kill us all. Hell, they could be some old Guardian tech or maybe even that race of A.I's the Guardians designed. But I'm not sure if those A.I's would be an improvement. Who knows though?
Anyways I thought I'd take the trip out to see one of these things myself. If my readings were correct, and the information I got from Cannon Research is right, I saw Stargoid one as it approached Col 285 sector IB-X d1-35. It was strange to see but oddly beautiful. Even if that beauty was that of a flame about to burn us all. Assuming these are Thargoids in some form, I can't help but think they're not here to talk. If that's the case, this is the closest I've ever been to a Thargoid. I guess that makes me more green than I'd like to admit.
Maybe I should take that trip out to Colonia that I've been thinking about. Not only is it a new frontier, compared to how crowded the Bubble is getting, but if things go sideways I'm not potentially stuck in the middle of all of it.
