13/09/3309 - The start of something beautiful

Captain's log of the Sidewinder "USS-LP"
Commander L. Phillips

I write the first day of my journey, 13 September 3309. My time as a professional soldier is over, finally I have my "pilot's license". Now I am starting out as a freelancer. Today, for example, I supported state troops in the recapture of a settlement near Mitchell Orbit in the Arapahoma system.

I knew that as a professional soldier I would not earn so much, but as a freelancer it is another world. 610,000 credits only for a 10 minute support mission of the stationary troops. That's how much money I would have liked to have had in my time as a soldier.

This is the beginning, the beginning of something maybe very big. I'll have a look around, I've heard there are some groups flying around that could be a great fit for me.
