Log of Legion Initiate - Commander Lewis Phillips

Today is a memorable day in my life. A day that I have longed for for so long. I can hardly find the words to adequately express my emotions, but I will make an attempt to record this moment in my log.
Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of the stars, of the endless expanses of space and the adventures that might await me there. When I first heard the stories of the great commanders who traveled the galaxy and experienced incredible things, I knew that one day I too wanted to be one of those brave men and women.
For years, I dedicated my life to learning navigation, space technology and combat leadership. I have spent countless hours in the solitude of space, searching for answers to my questions and a purpose to my existence.
And today, September 18, 3309, I can finally announce that I am one step closer to my destiny. I have joined the Lavigny's Legion, one of the most prestigious and fearless fleets in the Empire. Under the leadership of Empress A. Lavigny-Duval, we are dedicated to defending the Empire and fighting for peace and stability in our region of the galaxy.
The entrance exam was not easy, but I passed with flying colors. It feels like all my years of preparation and training have been working towards this one moment. I am now part of a community of like-minded people, of commanders who are living the dream of the stars just as I am.
I can only express my gratitude to Empress A. Lavigny-Duval and the entire Legion. They have given me the chance to realize my dreams, and I will do everything I can to live up to their high standards.
This is just the next step in my journey, and I am aware that there will be many challenges ahead. But I feel more alive and fulfilled than ever before. I have found my purpose, and I will pursue it with everything I have.
