I have routed the journey for the “Intragalactic Mission: Volantem Lucem”. Exactly 70 markers have been made to map this journey and the key points to fly the spiral of our galaxy. Fellow commanders gave estimates of the journey to be roughly 200kly total. After mapping the first 4 markers out of 70 and seeing 30kly total, I knew this would be interesting while investigating the traveling between markers, enforcing a precise route to take shape. Regarding whether this route should be strictly followed is still being decided on, or if straying off path to see astrological anomalies may be encouraged, but will increase total journey time. Once plotted completely into the navigator we have a striking total of 757,215.11kly. The Plotter could only allow 10 markers at a time in the route. The first 10 of the markers are a total of 104,738.8ly, the next 10 on the route was a total of 117,107.06ly, sequential amounts in forms of 10 markers are 143,587.38ly, 138,210.27ly, 86,997.03ly, 102,985.62ly, and 63,588.95ly. Estimated jumps are 7300, most of these consisting of neutron jumps.
The acquisition for the expedition is invigorating, and seeing how long the journey will take peaks my curiosity even more. Date of launch is Halloween Day, and the idea of using carrier TBJ-48M for possible reconnaissance, may become a reality.
