Week 1

The expedition started with some "minor" turbulences. My Frame Shift Drive acted up because of the mass jump of thousands of other CMDRs. That was way too much stress for that thing, though repeatedly hitting it with the wrench seemed to wake Snow White from her slumber. With the FSD running again, I began plotting the course to the first leg of to the way to the 2nd waypoint that is in the Omega Nebula. On the way to the destination I found a odd system. It took me about 10 minutes to find all bodies (not the stinky, decaying kind of bodies) because the orbits around the sun were all over the place. This was said little bugger:
This sight greeted me when I arrived at the final destination on the first day:
I came across a couple of water worlds and scanned them, but didn't find Kevin Kostner at every single one. That guy is really hard to find, I tell ya .
Then there was the last destination before the Omega Nebula, the Trifid Nebula. The codex said there is some odd organic and metallic stuff to find there, so curiousity got ahold of me and I went to the diffferent reported places and soon was taken aback by the sheer beauty and the mystery surrounding those weird life forms.
Finally I arrived at the Omega Mining Operation asteroid base where the first CG to build a station near the galactic core takes place.
It seemed that me ramming that leaf-shaped glowy thing caused damage to the communication systems, because I couldn't get in touch with everyone, so it took me some sleepless nights to fix it properly (don't ask me why I rammed it XD).
The rest of the week until today was filled with lazying around, reading some manga and stuff, but now that everything works like it should, there's nothing standing in the way for getting to the next waypoint, but I missed out on the mining.
Until next week, farewell.
