Commanders Log Star date 1205.2022: Prismatic Shields

Grinding the Prismatic shields has actually not been that bad. Some 3 weeks ago I made my way to Cubeo to start my 1 month trek to acquire these powerful shields. I remember the very 1st week, where I could only get 10 materials at a time. Well needless to say, filling up a Cutter absolutely sucked. After enduring this for a bit, I thought to myself, you know, I'm going for a 5 Rating, cuz I'll be damned if I'm doing this for a month at 10/ea or 20/ea(Fast track) a run. That's just sadistic. Sooooo, I endured and made my way to the 10K Merits required to achieve Rating 5. So now, life is easy filling up at 50/ea. Plus the 50 Million salary is pretty cool. So I will have made 200 Mill through this grind. Not a bad trade off, plus it pays for fast tracking. I am looking very forward to acquiring these magical shields. I hear they make a big difference, especially on larger ships. My Corvette and Cutter should be pretty stout when I'm done. So, the moral of the story......endure the hardship up front, to reap the benefits and rewards down the road. It also makes life much easier. After all, isn't that what we're all doing? Improving our quality of life within the game to make things easier. Like making only 5 jumps instead of 15.
For those that have not done it yet, I will say this grind is worth it.
