After visiting the Farragut Battle Cruiser stationed right near Earth in Sol System, I decided to check out the INRA bases (Intergalactic Naval Reserve Arm) for Engineering Data Materials and to see where the Mycoid virus was developed.

Stuart Retreat
The logs in the first base already indicate that some of the employees were having second thoughts of the work being done here. Someone was trying to send a message out of the base to inform people of what was being done.

Klatt Enterprises
This is the creepiest base of them all. There is a pit with large cranes surrounding it, inside the pit, there appear to be Thargoid ship parts and possibly even Thargoid parts themselves. They were testing the Mycoid virus on living Thargoids here. It is unsettling.

Mayes Chemical Plant
The Mycoid symbol is everywhere here. There are large tanks both above ground and in-ground. Some of them show leakage of the Mycoid virus and the ground is stained orange with it.

Hogan Depot
They were lying to the employees of this facility. They told them they were developing pesticides, yet they didn't know what or who for. Eventually, the hauler pilots let the employees in on what it was far, an anti-Thargoid biological weapon.

Velasquez Medical Research Centre
This base is interesting. A vaccine was being developed here to fight the Mycoid virus, which was essentially a fungus. The question is why was a vaccine being developed for a weapon to be used on an enemy. Did the researchers have a change of heart or was there another purpose in mind, perhaps the virus also affected humans in some way as well.

Almeida Landing
INRA was reverse engineering the Thargoid technology, particular their faster than light warp technology. It appears they opened worm holes to travel through space, but the experiment to travel this way did not go well with human subjects.

Carmichael Point
The attack came swiftly. INRA did not expect the Thargoids to attack with a "mothership". Whatever attacked the INRA base was larger than what they had previously seen before. INRA didn't stand a chance. There were no survivors.

Stack
They conducted tests with the Mycoid virus on live Thargoid subjects here. Their remains can still be seen in the pits. I believe both them and their ships were subjected to the virus and all kids of torture stress tests.

Jameson Cobra Crash Site
It appears they set poor CMDR Jameson up. They rigged him up to crash into a planet after completing his mission of delivering the Mycoid virus to the "mothership". The world now knows the truth about INARA, the ship's logs have been found and will surely make their way across the galaxy.

Taylor Keep
This base is situated at the base of a beautiful cliff. It's from here that CMDR Jameson took off to deliver the Mycoid virus to the Thargoid mothership. It was all planned, the whole time, for him to deliver the payload and then get rid of all the evidence including him.

Hollis Gateway
It seems like INRA employees were split between those who trusted the organization and those that didn't. It also seems like those that were against or didn't trust INRA were taken care of quickly and quietly.
