The ethical dilemma

On the frontier of Hadad Maelstrom its a teetering seesaw for balance. Its been a relief to keep the enemy contained for the past month or so but it has taken some doing. With appearance of the scythe hunters and the news of harvesting populations it becomes a real dilemma. Do I fly my smaller but faster ship to save a smaller number on the guarentee or do I take the risk on the larger group and risk it with a slower ship. There are a lot of refugees that need evacuating and just not enough ships.
I don't have this dilemma entering the combat zone as thats just me and the quick launch on the escape pods with a fee to the rescue rangers. Its quite something else when passengers are involved and from what I'm hearing its not tea and biscuits for those captured...no there is definately something afoot in the plans of the thargoids.
There is a sense of forboding at the frontline stations but we are all doing our best. Lets hope its good enough to get these farmers, kids, scientists and just generally honest folk to safety and when this is all over back home....well if their home is still standing!
