Imperials cease criminal business relationship

08 NOV 3310, Sargent Gateway, Gullveti
A little over one year ago, the Yomar Consortium and the Nova Technocratic Scientific Assembly struck an accord to establish a collaboration on scientific and economic terrain. This accord has since recently been terminated on initiation of the Nova Technocratic Scientific Assembly, also known as the Nova Science Team.

Dane Wilson, public representative of the Yomar Consortium, about the cancellation of the accord by the Imperials:
"The collaboration between the Consortium and the Nova Technocratic Scientific Assembly proved fruitful for both, with the Indri-based refinery and scientific outpost benefitting from a cheap influx of weapons and... 'labourers', whilst also gaining access to scientific discoveries our scouts would produce, providing the Imperials a premium edge over Federal, Allied and Independent actors. All the while, the syndicate was able to derive profits from this special treatment within Indri's market, as they provided us with a nice niche market to get premium prices where we could sell cheaply acquired slaves (which we then outfitted with captured Imperial slaving collars) to the Indri system, where they could be used as cheap workforce/test subjects. All the while also exporting our armaments to the NTSA to augment their security forces. Alas....

Their decision to cancel the collaboration is not really surprising me. After their associated military organization, the Nova Navy, launched strikes against our assets in Gullveti as retaliation for the carried out assassination of Mathew Collins (which, I should add, was contracted for by Harrison "Wells" Sahakyan himself), the diplomatic accord between the Consortium and the Nova Science Team became untenable. I do recall that Mr. Sahakyan got himself killed when he tried messing with the Kumo Crew, so on our end, the debt that was unpaid, has been paid for in blood.

To that extend, we see no further reason as to why the Imperial forces are continuing their strikes on one of the Pirate King's outposts. Perhaps their pride got tarnished or they somehow wish to make a statement to Imperial High Command for their earlier attempts to come out of the negotiations without having to pay up, ending in failure at the hand of the collaboration of our syndicate with Archon Delaine's gangsters. We will perhaps never know, unless they open up their communication channels again. But until then, business as usual I suppose, even if we now have one less business partner, quite a good partner if I have to say so myself... we'll have to find another export market for these slaves now, but, I heard Senator Torval may be interested, haha..."

Dasha Adams of the Nova Technocratic Scientific Assembly, has closed their communication channels with the Consortium. As such, sadly, they have been unreachable to provide commentary from their end. To that end, no information is available from the Imperial perspective and their current operations. Oh well...
