Back to the Bubble [Logbook entry 1]

It's been quite some time since i've been this close to the Bubble. Now that's not saying i'm not still quite far away. 11.120,84 lightyears to be exact. However, at the time of writing this, i've got my next jump scheduled, I think when I'm done writing I'll be a couple hundred lightyears closer to home. Today was quite eventful: I woke up in my Phantom on some distant planet that i discovered yesterday. There were some funny looking trees on there, just looked them up, they are Fonticulua Campestris. Not that that would help. Whatever, funny looking trees with flat "leaves" that reminded me of the Spire Sites back home. Yeah, home. Thargoids. They say the war will be over soon. They say we're winning. Yet all I see is some fancy new Thargoid tech appearing out of nowhere every time we think we're safe.
Alright, back to business. Five minutes until the carrier jumps by the way. I'm listening to Hutton Orbital Radio right now. It reminds me of home. The fuel rats just made some announcement about how to be a good client and it ripped me right out of my daydreams. Sucks i guess. Maybe once I'm home I'll do some rescues for them, we'll see. But for now, I should focus. This logbook is supposed to help me collect my thoughts but so far all it's doing is scattering them across the galaxy. Which is where I am. In the middle of nowhere.
Two minutes until we're jumping. I should get done here so i don't become a puddle on the ground from not going to a safe seat. But I'm not done yet. I think. Right. best part of today: getting stranded even more than already. Launched from my carrier, flew some twelve kilometers away, and my Krait just died. Boom, gone, thrusters, sensors, everything. Now guess what, the minute my carrier (that had already scheduled a jump, which i couldn't cancel because everything went black) went into lockdown, my ship came back to life. Made me fly the entire 500 lightyears myself. Good news is that I found a ringed gas giant with ammonia based life before catching up with the carrier. Hope that gets me some credits, we'll see.
Speaking of fleet carrier, we're almost jumping, so I'll conclude todays logbook entry. We'll see if I'll upload this or not. Maybe later...
