Squadon Commander's Log,17th February 3309
Rumours have reached us out here in the Beta-2 Tucanae system of either an impending or ongoing attack on Earth, humanity's spiritual and ancesteral homeworld. No matter what side we lay our allegiences, this cannot be ignored. Whilst evacuations of our ancient home proceed, I have gathered what pilots and crew I can, scraped from what few of us remain out here. My intention is to lead our rag-tag squadron out to join the fray against the Thargoid threat to the galactic south east.
Orders have been issued for those surviving members of Vanguard Squadron to rendevous first at our home base of Mouchez Orbital, before heading to the Antai system. Once there, it is my intention to have the squadron stock up on as many AX weapons and muntions before we deploy to the HIP 32812 system.
