Friends and War

Taking a day off from the war in CD-39 4830. Well, not exactly off, just doing some relief missions instead of diving into combat zones: getting refugees out of the system, scouting for necessary commodities for the war effort, that sort of thing. While docked in Alliance space, a surprising re-union happened: I met Antonio Ugalu, my former mission commander with the Screaming Firehawks, along with Flynn Bradley, the craziest Marine you ever meet. I knew that the Firehawks had been decommissioned about two years ago, but apparently Antonio and Flynn are up to something here. We had a chat about Elana and Miri, but these two seem to be unconnected to whatever the boys are up to. Antonio right off the bat asked me if I want to fly a mission for him, which I gracefully declined. Gotta keep my eye on the ball. But good to know that there's always a job to be had (also he was interestingly coy about giving details, although we know each other for a decade now). Flynn was distracted, as he was seriously working his charm on someone he just met. Ah, good old Flynn, we had something going back in the days but you know how it is. The job and all... 
After this short stint away from Matteucci Ring, I finally managed to get into the gardens and the Arboretum. A wonderful place in the Black, it always takes me back to my childhood. Even though the Anacondas flying overhead are a bit of a distraction at times... But this is just a brief respite, the war is still going and it will take concentrated effort to win this against the Imps. So let's head out again!
