Defense of Imeut, Humanity divided

Log entry, Commander Jambrick.Location: Levi-Strauss Hub, Imeut system.
Status: Thargoid invasion.
As I arrive at the Levi-Strauss Hub in the Imeut system, I find that the Thargoid invasion is in full swing. Despite the efforts of AXI units, the Thargoid interceptors are overwhelming them. In the chaos of the war, there are commanders who seek to undermine AXI's efforts, which only makes the situation worse.
It's hard to make sense of what's going on. The conflict has left us all in a state of uncertainty, and the possibility of peace with the Thargoids seems distant at best. As I ponder the situation, I can't help but think about how we cannot achieve peace with others if we cannot be at peace with ourselves. While some may hold out hope for diplomacy, we have no idea what the Thargoids want, or even if they are capable of wanting anything at all.
For now, my focus remains on doing what I can to support AXI and defend against the Thargoid threat. Despite the challenges we face, I believe that if we can find a way to work together and maintain a sense of hope, we can persevere and emerge victorious in this conflict.
