Dejavu. Returned to battle, immediately sent back to prison.

I'm headed back to prison after another disastrous day. I can't believe what happened at Zamyatin Horizons. I was there when the thargoids attacked, but I got charged for accidentally killing an ax unit who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. They took me to Panopticon, where I spent the last two weeks in a cell. They finally let me go, but it was too late for Zamyatin Horizons. The station was lost, and everyone had to evacuate. I wonder if I could have made a difference if I had stayed and fought.

I managed to find my crew and we headed to HIP 11111, where another station was under attack. Coney Installation was swarming with bugs, and we joined the AX forces to defend it. I thought things would go better this time, but I was wrong. As I was dodging some missiles, I collided with another AX ship. It wasn't my fault, he came out of nowhere. He had shields, so he should have been fine, but his hull was already corroded by the Thargoid acid. The collision did absolutely no damage to the ax unit's hull. The hull slowly melted right in front of me, and I got blamed for it. They said I murdered him, and they ordered me to surrender. I couldn't believe it. How could they accuse me of such a thing? The ax pilot and the caustic damage from Thargoids are clearly to blame here.

I had no choice but to comply, and now I'm on my way back to prison. I don't know how long they'll keep me there this time, or if they'll ever let me out. I'm starting to lose hope. I don't want to fight anymore, not with these incompetent AX pilots who don't know how to deal with the Thargoids. How many battles need to be lost before they equip counter measures to caustic damage? They're more dangerous than the enemy, and they're costing us the war.

I realize that this sounds insensitive to the pilots that have lost their lives in this war, but someone needs to say it. This is not justice. I watched the ship fly into caustic clouds and take no action to stop it. I am blamed for their death when Thargoids clearly are to blame. The black box confirms this and yet I still have to take responsibility because I bumped into their shields which stayed functioning, but are ineffective against caustic damage. This is ignorance and my patience is fleeting.
