It's been a while since the last entry. A lot outside, little time. Parker was really pissed when I flew the Echo for 3 weeks while she was stuck on the carrier. Meanwhile, the Euphoria is heading for the Epiphany nebula. The ever-widening conflict with the Thargoids is being felt even out here. Within a very short time we found 2 crashed Thargoid sensors.
Obviously, they're out here and any of our ships would be easy prey. Even the Concordia that we used to be on the safe side for the detour to the abandoned outposts in Hawkings Gap near Plaa Aec IZ-N C20-1. At least their shields and armor would give us enough time to power up the frame shift drive and escape.
After our visit, the crew became nervous. No help will come out here, and whatever was researched there, the settlers didn't expect it to be friendly to us.
We will look for Guardian ruins in the Ephany nebula, stock up on enough material and get blueprints and weapons at the next technology market. When it comes down to it, they're more effective than the cotton balls our guns fire.
One hell of a trip and I hate spending time aboard the Euphoria. It makes me nervous. Being a passenger and not flying is hard to bear. With the Echo I at least have the chance to make a few random finds.
Neutron stars and pulsars at Ploi Aec UQ-T D4-3, Myalau WI-T D3-2 and Schaikuia KS-B D13-1, White dwarfs at Myalau FQ-P D5-2 and Myalau ZO-R D4-3. And then this pink-colored gas giant in Ploea Schoe JG-Y E0. Man, it looked like it came out of a gumball machine.
Not to mention, there's a lot of money in it. Just like my Billion Credits Baby Puelaa GU-A D92. Oh man, the scanner was overheating. 3 planets with 9 life forms each. The surface was littered with life. And not the worthless crap you find everywhere. Oh no. Each individual planet almost 70 million credits just for the genetic samples - with bonus a billion credits.
More money than we need to fund the rest of the trip. The detour to the Guardian ruins will cost us Tritium. There are still a good 8,000 tons in stock. That won't do. So, at some point we have to spend a few days in the mining ship again. Damn I hate this.
Parker pings me. The Euphoria is ready to jump. 500 light years to nowhere ...
